Insight Global Regulatory Policy Lead in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Regulatory Policy Lead for one of our top Utility clients in the Nation. In this role you will work directly with Senior Management to develop regulatory case filings and strategies that support the company's strategic goals and objectives. You will consult with the subject matter experts throughout the company to develop filings and strategies consistent with company goals. Communicate and work effectively with regulatory case management teams to ensure filings consistent with strategies. Prepare supporting testimony in regulatory proceedings, administrative rulemaking, and legislative hearings and necessary. Coordinate with the Technology Executives and the Regulatory VPs to ensure they are lock in step defining the proper strategy and putting together the deliverables.

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience within Utility Regulatory fields or government entities

  • Previous experience working for a Utility or Energy Services

  • Experience dealing with regulatory filings -- the development, compilation, and editing leading up to the filings.

  • Experience being the liaison between leadership teams and regulatory executives to provide status, define strategy, and put together deliverables.

  • Proven experience providing guidance to internal leadership to write testimonies.

  • Executive presence and responsible for developing key messages for presentations internally and legislative committees.

  • Excellent communication across the entire organization at all levels written and verbally with dedication to building strong relationships null
