    Are you interested in contributing to the development and training of our exceptional workforce in Ste. Genevieve? The Training Coordinator position entails supporting our business strategy by providing learning opportunities and formal training.

    About the Job

  • Identify Training Needs

  • Works with all leaders to understand learning and developmental needs of each department and position based on the critical skills required.

  • Promotes a continuous improvement culture through the identification of gaps and opportunities in training materials, methods, and technology.

  • Create training evaluation and test out documents.

  • Facilitate content changes in training curriculum and refresher needs.

  • Program Development

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts “SMEs” to develop training programs for various roles within Ste Genevieve location and collaborate with Human Resources and SG area leaders where appropriate, including onboarding as well as on-going training development.

  • Work with SME to design and create training content for various roles in a consistent format.

  • Preparation of virtual training platform utilized for training systems.

  • Preparation of in-person training materials and handouts.

  • Coordinate trainer assignments and both internal and external training programs.

  • Training Delivery

  • Engage in training for different audiences and learning types.

  • Arrange for appropriate training facilities relevant to course content and participants.

  • Conducts training on select operating procedures in a classroom setting and/or production environment, as defined by operations.

  • Assist trainers across all departments.

  • Program Administration

  • Establishes and maintains effective communication across the plant to ensure training processes are equally and effectively supported across all departments, crews, and shifts.

  • Administer systems for tracking employee training needs and status, which indirectly drives employee adherence to the defined training program targets.

  • Audit training sessions and provide feedback for improvements to training content and delivery.

  • Work with Human Resources to apply for and execute training grant funding.

  • Prepare yearly training budget for the Ste. Genevieve operation.

  • Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.

    Required Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in HR, training, education, or related field preferred or 5 + years of training within an industrial environment

  • Manufacturing Experience in a multi-shift operation

  • Knowledge: Adult learning methods, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems, understanding of plant operations, and understanding of industrial manufacturing.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, oral and written skills.

  • Abilities: Ability to convey complex information in an understandable way

  • Behaviors: Self-motivation, integrity, and enthusiasm.
