**Mechanical Engineer HVAC and Plumbing Systems ** Growing MEP
(Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering firm based in Salem,
Oregon. This role involves intermediate-level responsibilities and
expertise in the design and documentation of HVAC and plumbing systems
as part of our diverse MEP projects. Minimum Requirements: - Associates
in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program - At least
three (3) years of experience in MEP design with specific focus on HVAC
and plumbing in a consulting environment - Proficiency in AutoCAD and
Revit - Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing industry standards and codes -
Oregon driver\'s license to drive to job sites, mileage reimbursed
Preferred (Not Required): - Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from an
ABET accredited program - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

Develop and refine system plans from conceptual design through to
construction documentation stages for HVAC and plumbing projects.
Depending on experience, help develop the conceptual design - Utilize
Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed designs and technical drawings -
Select appropriate HVAC and plumbing equipment based on project
specifications and requirements - Translate product data into actionable
design information - Develop and update project specification
documents - Research and apply relevant codes and standards specific to
each project - Calculate heating and cooling loads - Perform system
simulations to validate design parameters - Participate in project
meetings and contribute to the creation of meeting minutes - Conduct
site visits to inspect installation progress and ensure compliance with
design specifications - Collaborate with project teams to manage
priorities and task scheduling effectively - Maintain communication with
clients and interdisciplinary teams under the guidance of the Project
Manager or Engineer of Record - Provide support for other technical
tasks as needed to support project and organizational goals - Perform
