A Production Supervisor oversees a company s production operations. In most cases, Production Supervisors are in charge of a specific division but, in some cases, they can manage entire operations. One of their major responsibilities is ensuring that materials and supplies are in a positive flow. They should also ensure that machines are functional and the production facilities adhere to safety standards.
Given the nature of today s business environment, a Production Supervisor will have to manage a talented and diverse team. One of their most important goals is to properly organize and direct the production staff to achieve a satisfactory workflow. They must also identify areas for improvement and organize training opportunities for their team.

with direct experience in a manufacturing plant and at least 2 years experience in a supervisory role. Ideally, these experiences should be in relevant industries. Anyone with experience as a Production Assistant and experience in an oversight role in a non-manufacturing setting can still make a good Production Supervisor.
Production Supervisors hold a bachelor s degree in technology, engineering, business administration, or related fields. A high school diploma with many years experience can also suffice.
Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
IT skills, especially using data analysis software
Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
Ability to create and adhere to production processes
Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field
Preference will be given to people that live in Sanpete, Juab, Sevier, Emery, Carbon, Iron, and Beaver Counties
Since most of the office space and operations will be in southern part of the state.
Pay range is $20-35/hr
Benefits are available after 90 days
