Celtic Bank FinTech Partner Relationship Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah

The FinTech Partner Relationship Manager will lead all interactions between the Bank and designated fintech partners.

The Relationship Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day oversight, supervision, and management of assigned partnerships. This includes managing each element of the partnership including relationship management, credit, operations, compliance, finance, accounting, legal, marketing and credit. The Relationship Manager interacts with, and is supported by, each department within the Bank and works closely with the Compliance Department on all regulatory, compliance and risk related aspects of each partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for each assigned fintech partner.

  • Analyze, assess, and provide recommendations to senior management on new product offerings proposed by assigned partners.

  • Serve as primary interface between bank, partner, and credit card networks. Manage credit card network projects to completion.

  • Interact daily with Compliance and each respective department within the Bank or third-party resource that is required for ongoing oversight of each partner.

  • Manage the review and approval of partner material and documentation such as marketing materials, policies, procedures and processes.

  • Maintain and manage the tracking and resolution of issues, opportunities for improvement, and best practice enhancements.

  • Evaluate product-level performance and tracking reports supplied by the fintech partner on a periodic basis. Produce summary reporting for each fintech partner and distribute to management for review and input.

  • Perform periodic risk-based reviews of fintech partner's adherence to the Program Agreement and applicable regulations. Prepare and present reports to senior management.

  • Interact with the Bank’s Compliance dept. and the fintech partner to manage the resolution and reporting of customer complaints.

  • Support the amendment, extension, or renewal to an existing Fintech Partner Program Agreement.

  • Support internal efforts related to third-party audit reviews of assigned fintech partner.

  • Support Bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits.

  • Support the Due Diligence and Implementation process of new fintech partner.

  • Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to ensure relevant skills are maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of consumer and/or commercial banking or finance experience.

  • Excellent people-management and interpersonal skills including the ability to work well in a team or on an individual basis.

  • Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects.

  • Experience working with credit card networks and managing implementation of new credit card products is highly desired.

  • Excellent ability to analyze complex issues and identify suitable solutions.

  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues. Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.

  • Strong knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment is a plus.

  • Experience working with regulators (FDIC, Utah Department of Financial Institutions) is highly desired.

  • Willing to work flexible schedule to finish special projects.

  • Ability to travel when required.

  • Solid working knowledge of various computer systems, software and changing technology. Experience with Salesforce a plus.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.   • Work Model: The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.

  • Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office – department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
