Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scientist (open until filled) interested in advancing their career in a vibrant and highly collaborative environment with superb resources at the University of Utah School of Medicine and Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT, to investigate etiologic heterogeneity and survival of gynecologic tumors. Qualified and motivated individuals with a track record of success in reproductive and/or cancer epidemiology will be considered. Dr. Trabert is an Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Member, Cancer Control and Populations Sciences and has research projects available evaluating commonly used medications, comorbidities, inflammation, and circulating hormones as they relate to the etiology of female cancers.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform self-directed research independently as well as in a collaborative setting.

  2. Analyze data and prepare publications summarizing research findings.

  3. Review the scientific literature effectively.

  4. Demonstrate effective communication skills; present research at national meetings and author manuscripts for publications in scientific journals.
