Innovate! Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as aRemote Sensing Analystin support of expanding Innovates business footprint in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our team is looking for well-organized, self-directed applicant whoshall participate in applying remote sensing and geospatial technologies to address natural resource applications including change detection, monitoring, extraction and classification of information from imagery using supervised/unsupervised image classification, and feature extraction technologies. The position shall conduct product accuracy assessment and identify and apply approaches to geospatial analysis and modeling. The position shall develop, manage and analyze remote sensing and geospatial data sets, to support resource management projects that range from local to broad scales in size. The position shall assist in evaluating and applying new remote sensing and associated technologies (e.g., new sensors and platforms, software technologies, data processing and analysis methods, data mining, geospatial modeling, UAV data extraction and interpretation, etc.) and assists in assessing their feasibility for use to support FS information needs. The position shall provide input for scientific and technical reports and geospatial training materials for evaluation and development projects.
