Provides operational and logistics support for research labs and space management.Coordinates health and safety operational and training issues with the Associate Director, Operations and Logistics in the College of Science.Collaborates with faculty on equipment purchase and maintenance, training, health and safety protocols essential to the smooth operation of research laboratories.This position is not responsible for providing patient care.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences or related area, or equivalent management experience required, plus three years of experience in laboratory, equipment, resource and space management.Time management, managing priorities and attention to detail are of particular importance in this positionDemonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of analytical preparation facility operation as well as health and safety protocols.
