About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Coordinator for our San Antonio office! The purpose of this position is to coordinate the tracking and receiving of invoices and maintaining of the financial forecast. Project Management team collaborates with various departmental activities including: administrative, financial, IT, human resources, business pursuit, and corporate governance & risk management.

What you’ll do

  • Provides daily onsite administrative and financial support to the Project Management team.

  • Coordinates budget preparation, reporting and preparation and control of records, statistics and reports regarding operations.

  • Prepares correspondence, invoice tracking, reports and presentation materials for management review.

  • Ensures that department procedures are consistent with detailed retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of departmental records.

  • Coordinates tracking and reporting of key performance indicators for business unit including financial and other approved scorecard measures.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree or equivalent experience required. Associate's Degree (AA/AS), College Diploma in Architecture or Engineering Technology equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year(s) of related experience.

  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite products.

Additional Skills

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions.
