Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description - $25-$40 per hour
As a forklift operator, you will play a crucial role in our team, ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines and material handling processes. You will be engaged in the production of small metal parts for Toyota vehicles, operating large stamping presses, small machine welding stations, and production lines. This position demands high attention to detail, strong initiative, and a commitment to excellent attendance.
Responsibilities
Operate production lines efficiently
Push carts of product and move materials around the facility
Perform lifting and labor tasks as needed
Maintain high attention to detail and initiative
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Communicate and organize with warehouse associates
Handle materials and move pallets with multiple units
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a strong safety record
Engage in general labor tasks including assembly, order selecting, inventory management, material handling, pallet jack operations, loading, and quality assurance
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift
Forklift certification (preferred)
Recent experience operating a forklift
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production environments
Strong material handling skills
Ability to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day
Ability to lift 30+ lbs repeatedly
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift objects over your head repeatedly
Strong attendance record and punctuality
Experience in a production facility or warehouse

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.40 - $17.22/hr.
