As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .
As a Patrol Armed Officer in a retail environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure atmosphere for customers and staff. This role requires an armed designation, and you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with the public. A valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification in Texas are required for this position.

Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Help to deter potential security-related incidents through visible presence and proactive engagement.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities or management.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall security posture of the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have an armed designation for armed roles.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security, or possess a college degree.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
