Actalent Design Associate (Entry-level) in San Diego, California

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Design Associate to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful work that makes a tangible impact on our communities. You will be involved in designing and planning power distribution systems that keep the lights on and the world moving.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and planning of power distribution systems using AutoCAD.

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.

  • Prepare, modify, and maintain plans, designs, drawings, and schematics.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

  • Participate in field surveys and data collection as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.

  • A Bachelor Degree is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the field of infrastructure engineering.
