Insight Global Infrastructure Project Manager in San Diego, California

Job Description

The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are properly executed within budgeted cost and time schedules. The Project Manager will be supporting clients within SLED, government, and health care, both new and existing in security related installations and upgrades. Their responsibilities include managing anywhere from 15-25 projects at any given time, creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and communicating with clients on a weekly basis. 50% of the day will be managing field project managers and the remaining 50% will be managing portfolio projects. The Project Manager will also be responsible for going on site to one client per week. The experience Project Manager will drive customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.

Skills and Requirements

-Experience as a Project Manager managing infrastructure projects (for example but not limited to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)

-Experience managing people and leading others

-Experience managing projects for external customers, including client meetings and interfacing with them

-Previous experience managing scheduling, budget, and approval for scope

-Managing a budget of at least $2 million

-Managing at least 15 projects at any given time

-Detail-oriented team player with exceptional interpersonal, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

-Local to San Diego -Installation/Security industry experience null
