Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO) is seeking a Level 4 Software Development Analyst with CAD design and administration experience to support and maintain mechanical CAD applications (Siemens NX and Dassault Catia V5) within unclassified and classified areas.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
Provide end-user support of Mechanical CAD engineering software included in the Engineering Systems Pool (ESP) - Siemens NX and Dassault Catia V5
Provide system maintenance, license management, software installations, upgrade deployments, operations support, test support, and system troubleshooting while meeting software compliance standards
Monitor, address, and resolve production environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc
Document all aspects of system support such that knowledge is readily shared among all those tasked with supporting CAD applications
Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging engineering applications, products and technologies
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience; OR an Associates degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience; OR an Associates degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience
Must have the ability to obtain a Security+ certification within 6 months of start date
Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems
Experience with Server/Client installations
Experience with application administration
Must possess a current DoD Secret level security clearance in order to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
Security+CE certified
Experience with AWS Cloud
Familiarity with the functions, processes, and capabilities in native CAD applications and Data Management.
Experience supporting CAD in Windows and Linux environments.
Fluency in at least one computer programming language.
Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
Must work well with others in a professional setting regardless of skillsets
Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems and software problem tracking tools
Must be able to work in the office as this is not a work from home or hybrid position.

Salary Range: $118,600 - $178,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
