The Opportunity
This opportunity as a Systems Administrator/Site Manager in the San Diego, California area is perfect for an individual with a secret clearance and IT background! This individual works under the supervision of the Project Manager as a field representative on installations, testing, and maintenance of low voltage security systems.

The Responsibilities
Install, repair, test and maintain security projects
Serve as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training
Collaborate with in-house EFS teams to improve installations
Ensure safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
Handle service order and project administration
Initiates and maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customer as they relate to contract compliance
Manages new and existing projects and customers including analysis, design, and procurement
Oversees assigned contracts, staff, and sub-contractors through project completion
Expedites project requirements in a timely and professional manner
Authors and reviews bids as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Carries out administrative duties as assigned
Identifies and relays customer feedback and requirements to appropriate management
Manages assigned projects and contracts including organizing work load, deadlines, subordinates, schedules and assignments
Leverages past business relationships and contacts to initiate recurring contracts and customers
Ensures progress as required by the contract regulations and management

Must obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certificate
Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid card
High school diploma or equivalent
IT or an electrical background. Basic electrical wiring experience
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office 7)
Good communication skills to interface with customers
Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions and code requirements
Attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude
Required to obtain a US Government clearance
Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings
Great to Have
Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of verifiable related work experience
Experienced in the IT field
Experienced electrician
Current US Government clearance
Certifications or experience on the following: MDI, Vindicator, DAQ, Lenel, AMAG, Advantor, HIRSCH Systems
Security + (501 or 401)
Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases preferred

Pay range is $90,000 - $115,000 for well-qualified candidates.
