Description We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our team. The position is located in San Francisco, California. As an Application Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications. This includes hands-on experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and API Security solutions. You'll also be responsible for securing Containers, web, APIs, and cloud-native workloads on various platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Employ SAST, SCA, DAST, and Secrets to enhance application security solutions
• Ensure security measures for Containers, web, APIs, and cloud-native workloads
• Apply knowledge of the OWASP top 10s to identify and mitigate modern attack vectors
• Work with cloud technologies across various platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Use skills in Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Technologies for security measures
• Implement Firewall Technologies and Cloud Technologies to secure networks
• Leverage AB Testing, Auditing, Configuration Management, and Cyber Security skills for application security
• Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure for application security management Requirements • Proficiency in using Checkpoint for securing applications.
• Solid understanding and experience with Cisco ASA to ensure secure data communications.
• Familiarity with various Cisco Technologies for network security.
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies, with the ability to design and implement secure cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of Firewall Technologies to protect network infrastructures.
• Experience in AB Testing to validate application performance and security.
• Auditing skills to evaluate the security of applications.
• Proficiency in AWS Technologies for development and security of applications.
• Skills in Configuration Management to ensure secure and consistent performance of applications.
• Strong knowledge in Cyber Security for safeguarding applications from threats.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for application hosting and security.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure for implementing secure cloud solutions.
• Expertise in Application Security, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
