Description
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our client's dynamic legal team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts for this organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that contractual agreements are executed effectively and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, apply today!
Responsibilities:
Draft and review a variety of contracts, including but not limited to employment agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
Negotiate contract terms with external parties to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements.
Review incoming contracts and assess their terms and conditions for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to renewal or termination.
Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders involved in contract negotiations and management.
Assist in resolving contract disputes or breaches through negotiation, mediation, or legal action.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
ABA-approved paralegal certificate
Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within a legal department or law firm.
Strong understanding of contract law and relevant legal principles.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work on-site up to 5 days per week.
