Description

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our client's dynamic legal team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts for this organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that contractual agreements are executed effectively and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review a variety of contracts, including but not limited to employment agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.

  • Negotiate contract terms with external parties to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements.

  • Review incoming contracts and assess their terms and conditions for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to renewal or termination.

  • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders involved in contract negotiations and management.

  • Assist in resolving contract disputes or breaches through negotiation, mediation, or legal action.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field

  • ABA-approved paralegal certificate

  • Proven experience working as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within a legal department or law firm.

  • Strong understanding of contract law and relevant legal principles.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to work on-site up to 5 days per week.
