Support a team of music professionals that work with independent artists to develop music for use on Meta's platform. Collaborate across the Creative Audio organization to execute core music work and special projects, including managing projects and initiatives across Meta Music Initiative data, operations, and production and with cross-functional partners.

Collaborate across the organization to execute core music work and special projects for Meta Music Initiative, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Reality Labs, managing projects and initiatives across Meta Music Initiative data, operations, and production and with cross-functional partners. Work with team leadership to effectively manage all aspects of workflows and processes for MMI operations, production, and data within Creative Audio and communicate business updates and enable efficient cross-team collaboration.
Develop and optimize strategies and workflows, advising leadership on operations, production and cross-functional engagements from legal, financial, and strategic perspectives. Delegate tasks to leverage team strengths and support growth opportunities.
Manage a team that delivers on complex projects and core Meta Music workflows while partnering across multiple teams
Lead and manage complex projects and workflows, representing Meta Music Initiative in cross-functional settings. Proactively manage stakeholder and leadership expectations by defining project roadmaps, providing updates, identifying risks, and ensuring commitments are met.
Provide operational business approaches that meet team needs, including moving fast and making progress or navigating blocks quickly
Facilitate relationships between teams, move initiatives forward, find resources, escalate and raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress
Work with the Music Legal team as needed on usage and rights/clearance matters.
Analyze cross-functional opportunities and formulate/contribute to business strategies with respect to scope, resourcing and execution.
Build and maintain productive relationships with the larger Audio team, Creative Audio leadership and managers, Meta Music Initiative artists and key cross-functional partners, in addition to the Meta Music team.
Advise and support on corporate compliance matters for Meta Music Initiative.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of operations and people management experience within a corporate, music, or tech organization
Proven organization skills, experienced in multi-tasking and juggling multiple competing priorities in a fluid environment
Proven communication skills for interacting with and influencing colleagues, leadership, and/or cross functional stakeholders. Experienced in adapting communication style to suit different audiences
Demonstrated experience in a fluid environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility. Can identify problems and proactively work towards solutions
Experience building relationships with peers and stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
Experience communicating with data to deliver business impact narratives and drive change
Track record of operating independently and taking initiative, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating resourcefulness, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Practical experience of computer software, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Tableau, Cortex.
Public Compensation:
$137,000/year to $191,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
