Apple is looking for a collaborative, highly organized professional to lead our EHS Audit & Compliance Program supporting our Corporate, Retail, Data Centers, and Content Production operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a leader growing and implementing our EHS Audit & Compliance Program. This leader will have deep knowledge and experience building and implementing programs, globally and locally, modeled after the US Department of Justice compliance program hallmarks. This professional should be experienced developing and leading a corporate EHS audit program. This leader should be experienced designing and implementing automated compliance testing leveraging internal databases and the data warehouse. Knowledge leading and developing an EHS management system is required. This individual will have a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and influence at all levels of the organization including senior management.

Description

Lead deployment and improvement of Apple’s EHS Audit & Compliance Program which provides EHS leads with the processes and tools to deliver and maintain compliance and report and resolve potential non-conformances. Coach EHS team members on compliance assurance strategies and act on feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of solutions. Lead EHS input into a cross functional team tasked with delivering/improving software solutions to support the global EHS audit and compliance program. Partner with Apple EHS Counsel. Provide routine, detailed global regulatory analysis. Support new store, new country opening teams, and new operations with jurisdiction regulatory requirement reviews and analysis. Track and report regulatory changes on a routine basis. Develop and sustain metrics, reports, and dashboards required to support the global compliance program at the local level and for leadership. Communicate effectively to all levels, work collaboratively with global teams focused on solving problems and continually improving EHS performance. Lead and own the Global EHS Audit & Compliance Standard. Train the internal EHS auditors and provide ongoing mentorship/coaching to develop auditing skills. Serve as lead EHS auditor. Manage the EHS Audit & Compliance budget and relationships with vendors. Serve on team designing and deploying Apple’s EHS Management System

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences or related field.

  • 10+ years of EHS experience leading compliance programs in multi-national companies.

  • 10+ experience in implementing and improving global compliance assurance programs in multi-national companies.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
