Who you are:
As an MSP Sales Business Development Manager on Cisco's Global Distribution Sales team you will identify, develop, and execute comprehensive GTM business plans aimed at accelerating sales and maximizing our managed services market share through Cisco's distributors & 2 Tier channel partners. This role requires significant cross-functional work with product management, marketing, finance, sales, channel teams and other subject matter experts across Cisco. You will also be collaborating with regional Distribution teams to help our 2T MSP partners adopt the Cisco Partner 360 Program, and work on growing Cisco's Splunk business through the Distribution/2T RTM.
What You'll Do:
Execute on managed services-focused initiatives through 2T/Distribution RTM
Develop plans to grow Cisco Splunk through engagement with the Distribution/2T RTM.
Collaborate with regional Distribution leaders to accelerate Cisco Partner 360 Program adoption through the Distribution/2T RTM for MSP Partners.
Understand our distributor and 2T partner needs and challenges and work with your counterparts to solve
Partner closely with regional MSP BDMs and extended stakeholders to develop and execute managed services-focused initiatives
Drive adoption of managed services buying programs (MSLA/MSEA/Flagged EAs)
Develop cohesive data analysis by obtaining relevant metrics and KPIs, analyzing trends, and developing meaningful insights
Team with SMEs to develop MSP enablement and sales acceleration content for Distribution Sales Teams through live sessions and integration into learning platforms
Drive adoption of scalable service creation resources
Build & deliver executive level presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Skills Required:
5 - 7 years business development experience with broad knowledge and experience of Cisco's distribution channel (or at a technology distributor)
Experience with building/executing an MSP GTM strategy for Security and/or Network Connectivity/Security solutions.
Ability to create scalable GTM motions that enable Disti led sales growth across segments and geographies
Business development experience at a technology services provider
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, balance long and short-term execution, and navigate complex global business landscapes
Ability to map business solutions to technology and to assemble relevant and measurable business cases
Experience with channel business models and sales programs
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and understanding of strategic frameworks & concepts
Pro-active and well organized with excellent follow-through and a sense of urgency to make meaningful progress to get things done
Excellent communications and highly developed interpersonal skills with strong ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
Strong soft skills including influence, negotiation and presentation
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment to meet evolving business requirements
