Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
Seeking a meticulous and diligent Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing tools such as calipers and height gauges to perform inspections, entering data into computer systems, and reading blueprints. This role requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs and work effectively in a team-based environment.
Hard Skills
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints (3-5 years)
Proficient in using measuring tools such as dial calipers, combination squares, tape measures, and protractor height gauges
Soft Skills
Comfortable navigating basic computer applications like Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Jose, California.
Work Environment
The position is based in a machine shop environment, which can be loud, noisy, and dusty. You will work closely with the Quality Lead, Joseph. Opportunities for overtime are available, starting after 2:30 PM. Two shifts are available: Day Shift from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $24/hr to $27/hr; Swing Shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, with a pay range of $24/hr to $30/hr.
