Johnson & Johnson Finance Solutions & Technology (FS&T) is recruiting for a Finance Manager, Enterprise Planning & Analytics Data Validation to lead critical processes & deliverables associated with deploying FP&A solutions into the global enterprise. This role can be based out of any J&J location globally.

This individual will direct key processes that ensure credibility of data flows through the Financial Planning process. This is a transformational role which offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a results-oriented and global organization that delivers direct value to senior organizational stakeholders. This individual will work within the Enterprise Performance and Analysis organization and partner with the J&J Technology (JJT) organization to: 1) Lead the Data Validation team in the project phase of EP&A solution design and deployment 2) Recruit, coordinate, train, and evaluate a team of both internal and external resources to provide ongoing data validation activities and 3) Analyze and develop efficient strategies to streamline the relevant data validation processes, including evaluating, recommending and deploying key technologies.

The individual needs to have a broad understanding of the J&J Operating Model as it is critical that this individual approach the role with an Enterprise mindset. Extensive knowledge of financial reporting and forecasting processes is required as the projects being led by this role and new initiatives proposed, will impact all finance employees globally who are engaged in financial planning and analysis.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Execute a data validation strategy relevant to the business needs of each J&J sector, consider source systems landscape, data quality and availability; data validation technological capabilities as well as the ecosystem and needs of the target landscape.

  • Partner closely across the SigniFi workstreams to drive coordinated solution designs and ensure end-to-end design objectives are met.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the data validation process in support of the overall finance technology strategy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders, including EP&A data design and JJT to ensure tech solutions address business requirements and effectively enable finance stakeholders to deliver business insights.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting

  • A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required. SAP knowledge a plus.

  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing FP&A technology solutions is preferred.

  • Change management skills and ability to work in ambiguous situations, including the ability to drive others to adapt to a changing environment is required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, influencing skills and ability to develop strong relationships with executive leadership team members is required.

  • The ability to partner with, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management is required.

  • Foundational project management skills are required.

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, proactively identifying and mitigating process risks within a cross-functional, global organization and effectively lead and govern decision-making bodies is required.

  • Innovative and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate a complex business operations landscape into a streamlined process design is preferred.

  • This role can be in any J&J geographic location, but presence in New Brunswick, NJ will be required on an ad hoc basis.

  • The role may require 10%-20% domestic and/or international travel, based on employee’s home location.

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
