We are currently seeking an Activities Director!
The Activity Director is responsible for planning and executing activities and events for the residents.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization and resident retention
Set up and cleanup for all events
Purchase supplies and giveaways for residents through the reimbursement process
Contact outside sources to provide additional activities and outings
Securely store and inventory company property that is used for events
Assist with monthly newsletters
Adhere to and enforce all safety procedures
Collect feedback to gauge the success and impact of the event
Ensure that events are well-provisioned, the event staff is trained and prepared, and that the event takes place on time and within budget
Requirements:
Experience planning and executing events
Customer Service experience
Proficient communication, marketing, and organizational skills
Work independently with the ability to apply sound judgment
Ability to operate within established budget
Ability to maintain rapport with staff and residents
