Job Title: Superintendent Level 1Job Description
Seeking a seasoned Superintendent Level 1 with strong leadership and project management skills to oversee construction projects. This role involves managing and coordinating with field personnel, creating detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, and ensuring that project plans are executed accurately in the field. The successful candidate will split their time between the office and construction sites, ensuring smooth project progression and adherence to timelines.
Hard Skills
Ground up construction experience with knowledge of concrete and timber
Proficiency in Type 1 podium, above podium is type 3 and type 5 construction
Expertise in creating and managing schedules using Microsoft Project
Minimum of 10 to 15+ years of experience in construction project management
Proficiency in ProCore Software management
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to coordinate and manage project teams effectively
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously
Strong organizational and planning skills

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Marcos, California.
Work Environment
The role operates in a typical construction site environment, with time also spent in a well-equipped office setting. The company culture is dynamic and inclusive, with a focus on work/life balance, team events, and company trips for key individuals. Team sizes vary per project, generally consisting of 1 to 2 superintendents, 1 to 2 Project Engineers, and 1 Project Coordinator. Working hours are from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with some weeks requiring 50-55 hours.
