Job Posting: Finance & Operations Associate – Asset Management Firm
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: San Mateo; 5 days in office
Salary: $110-150k (DOE) + Bonus

We are partnering with a well-established asset management firm seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to support various financial and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting, payroll, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Serve as a vendor liaison, coordinating with external partners and financial institutions.
Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and HSA plan management.
Assist with internship program onboarding and offboarding, including background checks.
Manage financial transactions, including wires and ACH transfers.
Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including annual statements and insurance renewals.
Provide accounting and tax support, including reviewing ledgers, preparing tax documents, and supporting quarterly and year-end closings.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as financial statement reviews.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience in finance, accounting, or payroll administration preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
