Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist located in SAN RAMON, California. The role involves handling a high volume of invoices weekly, maintaining attention to detail across multiple fund accounts, and liaising with both internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Work within a team to manage approximately 300 complex invoices weekly
• Review and enter invoices into the accounting software system efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail across multiple fund accounts
• Conduct a weekly check run every Friday, ensuring accuracy in data entry
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for functions such as sum functions and sorting
• Provide customer service by effectively communicating and working with internal teams and external vendors
Requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
•Experience in High-Volume Data Entry
• Must have a strong understanding of Government industry practices and regulations
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
