Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in San Ramon, California

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in San Ramon, California. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your primary role will be to provide technical assistance to our team and ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, and Active Directory will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to team members, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• Utilize Citrix and Dell Technologies to manage and maintain desktop environments.

• Operate EO/IR systems and Mac Computers to ensure optimal performance.

• Utilize Microsoft and Active Directory for configuration management and deployments.

• Provide deskside support to team members, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operation.

• Regularly update and maintain computer hardware and software systems.

• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new systems and policies.

• Assist in training staff on the use of hardware and software systems.

• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent future system problems.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Requirements • Must have at least one year of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support role.

• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies is required.

• Experience with EO/IR systems is necessary.

• Knowledge of Mac Computers and Microsoft products is essential.

• Familiarity with Active Directory is needed.

• Hands-on experience with Computer Hardware is required.

• Must have skills in Configuration Management.

• Experience in Deployments is necessary.

• Proficiency in Deskside Support is required.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
