This role will play an integral part in leading the centralized efforts for risk and compliance training for the enterprise to ensure all colleagues understand and adhere to regulatory and risk-related policies. Will act as an end-to-end functional learning product owner responsible for setting enterprise standards, and designing, managing, executing and evaluating comprehensive learning programs to enhance the organization's risk management capabilities. Role will report into the VP, Leadership and Learning within the Colleague Experience Group.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a robust enterprise global risk and compliance learning strategy and program, aligned with Amex’s operational risk management objectives and regulatory requirements.
Set the risk and compliance training standards, processes, governance and measures to ensure alignment and consistency across the enterprise.
Partner closely with key stakeholders, including SMEs, Project Guardian, etc. to ensure strong collaboration and enterprise mindset.
Serve as a thought leader and change agent for a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the BlueBox, promoting learning and professional development.
Evaluate the impact of training interventions through metrics and analytics, refining programs to drive performance improvement.
Incorporate relevant insights into learning initiatives from industry practices, emerging trends, and regulatory developments in operational risk management.
Qualifications
Expertise in leadership and learning, including content development as well as digital learning technologies.
Learning agile, strong enterprise collaboration, excellent PMO skills, and ability to move at speed to drive strategic projects forward.
Interest and understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across the organization at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance learning outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to balance short-term priorities with long-term objectives.
Experience designing and delivering training programs for large-scale diverse audiences, including front-office staff, risk professionals, and senior executives.
Ability to effectively partner with third-party vendors, including selecting, onboarding and effectively managing to gather external trends and perspectives.
Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environment with speed and a high quality of excellence.

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
