Job Title: Inspector
Job Description
Small parts Inspector (looking for a candidate with medical device experience with small parts that they can train on their inspection process) needed for prototype shop in Santa Ana, CA. 1st Shift - 4/10 Schedule 5am-3:30pm, Mon-Thur. Pay will be $20/hr-$23/hr and based on experience.
This site is a leader in the joining of dissimilar materials. Manufacturer of electrical feedthroughs and opto-electronic windows along with various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages.
Responsibilities:
Inspect parts per drawings and requirements to ensure conformity
Generate non-conforming reports when parts do not meet inspection tools (helium leak, calipers, optical comparators, etc.)
Ability to read and understand drawings
Carry out daily and weekly tasks
Help to troubleshoot and source experts when needed
Maintain a safe and clean working area
Participate in required company training
Detailed inspection of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applications
Hard Skills
2-3 years of QC Inspector or medical device experience working with very small parts (will train on process)
Microscope required/working with small parts (Aerospace or Medical device will work the best!)
Read/write in English
Ability to read & interpret SOPs, blueprints, instructions
GD&T experience highly preferred
