About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the delivery of all soft services (cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management, etc.) through third-party vendors.
Lead the selection, onboarding, and negotiation of contracts with soft services providers.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure the highest levels of service and compliance with contractual terms.
Conduct regular performance reviews, service audits, QBRs and KPI evaluations to ensure vendors meet agreed standards and SLAs.
Develop and manage the budget for soft services operations, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
Manage vendor invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Work closely with the Engineering Operations Manager to understand MEP system performance and how it impacts building occupants, including lab spaces.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and building occupants regarding all facilities-related matters.
Foster and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are consistently met.
Respond promptly to client feedback, concerns, and service requests, ensuring resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring smooth execution and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with in-house teams to identify and address facility-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Manage emergency response activities related to soft services, including coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Supervise and lead a team of facilities staff, ensuring that daily operations are carried out effectively and in line with company standards.
Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to direct reports, helping them develop their skills and improve performance.
Ensure that staff is well-equipped and motivated to meet the demands of the facilities management operations.
Ensure all soft services operations are in compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for vendor contracts, service reports, and maintenance activities.
Provide regular reporting on facility operations, vendor performance, and any issues related to MEP systems that may impact building occupants.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $130k annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $150k annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
