Nvidia Radar Integration System Engineer in Santa Clara, California

The Sensor System Engineering team is responsible for design, development and test of reference sensors for NVIDIA products and platforms. We are seeking a Radar Integration System Engineer to drive sensor system integration requirements in engagements with field and technology teams for groundbreaking applications such as Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with system design and perception teams to understand radar assembly requirements and proactively suggest diverse integration alternatives.

  • Identify key sensor metrics with the team and develop models to assess radar capabilities when mounted in the vehicle. Use those models to translate system requirements into sensor level requirements.

  • Provide integration guidelines to ensure sensor data quality for system integrators and customers.

  • Engage with sensor suppliers, drive technical analysis of hardware specifications and data quality test reports. Evaluate emerging sensor technologies.

  • Define technical approach and test plans to evaluate sensor performance. Develop tools and scripts to analyze impact of changes in integration. Conduct analyses, and actively contribute to team technical studies.

What We Need to See:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Optical Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience working with sensors.

  • Proficient with scripting languages such as Python in Windows and Linux environment.

  • Outstanding data analysis skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a multifaceted work environment.

  • Fast learning and good debugging skills.

The base salary range is 128,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
