Amazon IT Application Analyst, Fintech Brazil in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

Amazon Financial Technology Team is looking for an IT Application Analyst who will help us optimize our tax integrations and platforms, including custom solutions for tax in Brazil.

Our applications are the central hub for all Amazon.com tax and financial data. Our technology provides the foundation and orchestration for a multitude of key tax processes, including direct and indirect taxes, both domestically and internationally. This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define your success.

Job Responsibilities:

· Analysis and validation of the input and output streams of the tax data flows, checking reconciliations of the tax data as it relates to online and offline transactions, as well as providing support to the end users of the system.

· Collaboration with our business partners on researching and analyzing questions and concerns with the tax software, as well as the configuration and calculations within.

· Troubleshooting and support for any interface errors between systems.

· Participation on the design and development of technology solutions. You bring data to the table that can help improve or reinvent the business process.

· Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure key decisions, risks, issues, and solution status are made clear to all.

· Push the limits of third-party software through innovative design and delivery

Basic Qualifications

  • Tax software experience is a must.

  • Experience with Oracle database and middleware technologies preferred

  • Experience with Synchro preferred

  • English work proficiency

  • 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting software applications·

  • 4+ years of experience with data analysis and SQL

  • 4+ years with reporting systems and business applications such as MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project and MS SQL

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial or tax software implementation, configuration, support and reporting

  • Experience with Oracle EBS or any other ERP regarding Financial, Tax and Accounting modules.

  • Experience with Oracle preferred
