As a Learning Specialist in the Applications and Infrastructure practice(s) your role will be pivotal in identifying skill gaps, providing relevant training initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous learning across the organization. Collaborate closely with our global team of Learning & Leadership Development professionals to build exceptional learning experiences and to bring Limitless Learning to life!

What you will do:

As a specialist in the Software Engineering, Azure Platform (Infrastructure) and Technical Architecture practice(s):

  • Partner with our Software Engineering and Azure Platform Learning Business Partners (LBP);

  • Work with top experts from around the world to create engaging learning experiences;

  • Develop and instruct courses for in-demand skills;

  • Review Priority Skills and conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in learning coverage;

  • Review and recommend training from our existing network of learning partners - Microsoft, Accenture, vendors;

  • Design and develop skill-specific and certification-specific learning pages;

  • Engage our communities as a Learning Ambassador to help connect the right people with the right learning at the right time;

As a Learning Specialist in Avanade’s Learning & Leadership Development team:

  • Work with the company's learning management system, ensuring content is up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with training objectives;

  • Work with our course management team on appropriate learning delivery logistics, including delivery management and participant communications;

  • Proactively communicate with lead about issues or challenges that arise;

  • Understand and generate reporting for learning programs;

  • Leverage the expertise and resources of the Learning Center of Excellence to enhance the quality and impact of our training initiatives;

  • Think globally about a variety of English and non-native English participants;

  • Identify opportunities to provide ongoing better performance support and resources to employees, ensuring continuous development beyond formal training programs.

Skills and experiences

  • As you will be working with our Software Engineering, Azure Platform (Infrastructure),and Technical Architecture Practices, you would ideally have first-hand experience as a practitioner with one of these skills.

  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint.

  • You have active and relevant Microsoft certifications, for example, Azure Developer Associate.

  • Some experience teaching / instructing / mentoring. Being a Microsoft Certified Trainer is not required but is a strong benefit.

  • You should be analytical and comfortable using advanced Excel functions and PowerBI (ideally)

  • You have excellent English and communication skills - verbal, written and presentation;

  • You are an avid learner - in the last year you’ve taken a course, or pursued certification.
