Sarasota County Government Facilities Project Management Analyst in Sarasota, Florida

  • Collaborate with project managers to implement, document, validate, analyze, and monitor individual projects.

  • Create tools to support project scheduling, analysis, and review and maintain the pipeline of project management tools.

  • Regularly assess data sources and the associated quality, integrity, and reliability.

  • Develop recommendations to sustain superior quality and improve data shortfalls.

  • Present data analysis to various stakeholders (e.g. easy to understand metrics, strong presentation skills).

  • Regularly analyze data, identify trends, and recommend process enhancements to increase operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Generate performance scorecards.

  • Initiate empowerment to establish/change key performance indicators and key metrics by utilizing advanced features such as filters, parameters, and calculated fields to allow users to interactively explore data patterns based on different variables such as time, location, progress status, etc.

  • Remain informed about industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization to drive innovation and ensure the Facilities Division remains at the forefront of technology adoption.

Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in information management, mathematics, business administration, data analytics , or related fields AND two (2) years of job-related experience.

  • -OR- Six ( 6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education.

  • A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL Studio, MySQL, MS Report Builder, (Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs, Pivot tables, Macros, CSV).

  • Experience with data visualization (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau).

  • Understanding of project management methodology.

CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

About Everything Else:

Starting Pay Range: $55,577.60 - $60,008.00 /year, based on your experience
