The Saratoga Springs campus of an established network of charter schools is now accepting applications for a part-time Math Interventionist for the upcoming school year. This position will be responsible for schoolwide math interventions including providing small group instruction, training paraprofessionals, reviewing student data, collaborating and communication with classroom teachers, attending PLC meetings, and providing tutoring after school.
Ascent Academies of Utah (AAU) is a network of charter schools that provides its students with a rich and individualized academic program utilizing the successful Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM). AAU's network of schools combines SEM's research-based strategies with curriculum and instructional methods aligned to the Utah Core Curriculum in order to provide students throughout the network with engaging learning opportunities.
Qualified applicants will have a valid Utah teaching license. Preference may be given to candidates with a Math endorsement. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
