We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Savannah, GA ! This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team in a stable and rewarding role. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to transport finished goods to designated areas in the warehouse and/or load directly onto trucks.
Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay Rate : $18.00/hour
1st Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Operate a forklift to transport finished goods to designated areas in the warehouse and/or load directly onto trucks
• Perform operator inspection of forklift on each shift; check fluid levels and various forklift component systems for malfunctions and report problems
• Utilize IVC computer system to perform all goods movements
• Complete daily vehicle inspection forms
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of forklift experience
• Valid certification to operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
