Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and manage the construction progress of the body shop
- Performs production preparation work related to the input of new models
- Oversee, inspect and manage new model project progress
- Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document
- Review purchase specifications for production of new vehicle equipment and installation
(including transportation/customs clearance)
Qualifications and Preferences:**
Minimum:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience
- Strong Engineering fundamentals in manufacturing process and electronics
- Proficiency in CAD modeling. Autocad or CATIA V5/V6 experience a plus but not mandatory
- Proficiency with dimensional control, statistics and data analysis
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards (PFMEA, control plan, etc)
Preferred:
- 2+ years of job-related experience
- Job experience related to the automotive industry
- Experience with various manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding/brazing, and hemming
