Position Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of mechanical components.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for assembly of various items to meet customer requirements and to support the production scheduleExamine and inspect component parts, inspect first article produced to ensure conformanceVerify assembly of parts conforms to drawings, to all stated tolerances, and QC requirementsCommunicate effectively with fellow operators, supervisors, engineers, and management personnel within the companyAccurately process production records, inventory items, and time sheets.Process and complete all required QC documentation and recordsResponsible for maintaining the integrity of fixtures and toolingAccurately fills out production records, inventory, time sheet, test reports, and other documentationEnsures safety and quality standards are maintained at all timesResponsible for all work areas to kept clean, orderly and safeOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Understanding of basic mechanical assembly.Able to properly use and read calipers and tape measuresUse of hand tools including: saw, grinder, and sander Able to perform physically demanding work: standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularly
Education/Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or General Education Degree GEDSix 6 months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience preferred
