Responsible for directing the U.S. operations to expand the sales of
Japanese parent company, including the sales of automatic packaging
machines, industrial sewing machines, and automatic bag making machines
in the U.S. Responsible for managing the U.S. subsidiary; managing the
companys sales, business development, marketing, and programs;
overseeing the installation and testing of Newlong Industrial machinery;
coordinating and negotiating terms with sales agents; determining
appropriate staffing levels to provide the company with administrative,
engineering, marketing, and sales support; directing and coordinating
the organizations financial and budget activities to fund operations,
maximize investments, and increase efficiency; conferring with board
members and Newlong Industrial leadership to establish and implement
policies, goals, objectives, and corporate procedures; reviewing
financial statements, business, sales and activity reports, and other
performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to
determine areas requiring cost reduction and improvement; managing the
horizontal deployment of NLI Chicagos sales operation to the parties in
the same business in North America based on our delivery track record in
Japan. The General Manager also has responsibility over all of Newlong
Industrials US customers and accounts with authority to quote prices and
credit terms and negotiate and execute contracts. Responsible for
coordinating the entire sales process including customer contacts, cost
and price negotiations, order placement and estimates, installation,
delivery of machinery to customers, and resolving post-delivery sales
issues.
