The Wellness Coordinator is a team oriented, health and well-being
aficionado who is devoted to providing support to the entire Wellness
Team and to our clients. With guidance from the senior members of the
team, they maintain all initiatives that educate, motivate and engage
our clients and their employees in all aspects of wellness. The Wellness
Coordinator helps their clients to Minimize Risk and Maximize Health
directly through the programs administered.
WELLNESS
- Enters and maintains client data in agency management systems in an
accurate and timely manner
- Assists in the generation and preparation of client newsletters
- Assists in the customization and dissemination of posters and other
collateral
- Assists in the content creation of various collateral
- Coordinates and implements flu shot clinics in conjunction with the
preferred vendor
- Initiates and coordinates biometric screening process with clients
- Aids in implementation process and participate in on-site screenings
when needed
- Collaborates with Wellness Advocate to put together vendor RFP\'s
and workbooks
- Follows up with clients with regards to their annual wellness
strategy and assist in the execution
- Populates client surveys and work with clients to deploy these
surveys
- Assists in the coordination of wellness events and seminars
- Works with clients to set up and conduct challenges and events which
includes client outreach and assistance
- Supports Wellness Team in meeting preparation and consulting
proposals
- Researches new vendors, products and services in the marketplace
- Maintains insurance carrier relationships to understand wellness
services/resources offered to mutual clients
- Maintains client, prospect and information in applicable databases
as needed
- Takes initiative to research and learn new projects
- Is familiar with and follow agency procedures
- Performs related duties as necessary or assigned
EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE
- Supports Wellness Advocates, Account Managers, Producers, Account
Executives and other internal department members to flawlessly
execute Assurance\'s service strategy for each client, designed to
create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses
- Processes plan changes, as needed or requested by the client,
checking for consistency and documenting in the appropriate system
- Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated
understanding of the service plan and multiple channels of
communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings
- Leverages insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain
coverage terms, program options and other items to clients as needed
- Works with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and
timeliness of service execution
- Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, client service
requests and service parameters on business processes
PEER RELATIONSHIPS
- Provides feedback and shares information at team meetings
- Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with service team to
discuss accounts, renewals, service needs, service platform, e c.
- Develops successful working relationships with Wellness Advocates,
Producers, Account Executives, Account Managers, service team
members, managers, carriers and members of other departments
- Communicates effectively with all members of the Risk Management
Services and provides timely and complete information to allow them
to effectively manage service execution
REQUIRED:
- Registered Dietician (R.D.) Degree
- Upon hire, Producers License for Life/Health
- Holds Certified Workplace Wellness Specialist (CWWS) and/or
Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager (CWWPM) or obtains
within 6 months of hire
PREFERRED:
- BS/BA in fitness, nursing, exercise science or related
health/wellness field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
