Our client:
Our client is the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) and they are seeking anAccounting Clerkfor atwo year contract. This is a contract, temporary position (W2 Only) in New York, NY. It is an excellent opportunity for the right individual who loves advanced accounting tasks and has experience with Statewide Financial Systems.. The contract is expected to last 2 years with a pay range of$26-$33/hr.This is an in-office role, so you must commute to an office location inSchenectady, New York. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Required Experience:
Proven understanding and proficiency in the NYS Statewide Financial System
Key Responsibilities
Perform complicated calculations
Performing various financial purchasing or statistical functions
Majority of time will be spent performing mathematical operations and clerical activities related to mathematical operations
Using scanning machines
Ability to create and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Using calculators
Minimum Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
