The Raymond Corporation Team Lead Parts Correspondent - San Antonio - Schertz, TX in Schertz, Texas

The role of Team lead entails equipping team members with necessary resources for success, actively enhancing productivity, and maintaining top notch quality while optimizing output. High level of expertise, Initiative, and enthusiasm are encouraged in this role. This is a hands-on role overseeing the warehouse and sale of parts. A successful person in this role will promote a positive team environment, give guidance, and uphold the vision/ Core values Malin for the SXSW Branches. Reports directly to next in line Supervisor/Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and always observe for these.
  • Leads and assists in the storage and handling of inventory and non-inventory that needs to be received and/ or shipped.
  • Performs warehouse and ordering responsibilities including pulling, staging, unloading trucks, system orders and customer service calls.
  • Provide leadership, Training, motivation, and support to the team.
  • Building partnership between local and nonlocal teams as well as working closely with other departments to achieve overall organizational objectives.
  • Support team through daily KPIs, goals, and objectives to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze or resolve work problems or assist team in solving work problems.
  • Create/ Manage opportunities of growth/ objectives for departments.
  • Understanding strengths and weaknesses of the team to and provide teambuilding feedback when needed.
  • Support team supervisor/ manager and perform duties when manager is out of office.
  • Maintain working relationships to foster aid and promote cooperation and a supportive working environment.
  • Routine cycle counts and inventory troubleshooting.
  • Observe workers to ensure all processes are being properly and safely followed.
  • Identify patterns and trends of waste and investigate potential causes to minimize waste.
  • Evaluate problem resolutions and proactively inform management of foreseen issues.

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Effectively delegate and able to prioritize short and long-term goals.
  • Ability and willingness to train others.
  • Approachable and motivated.
  • Detail- Oriented mindset with a focus on inventory and system accuracy.
  • Customer Support, Problem Solving.
  • Microsoft 365, Power Bi.
  • Time Management of self and team members.

Qualifications

  • Direct leadership experiences (2 Years)
  • Customer service (2 years)
  • Warehousing/ Distribution Experiences (2 Years)
  • Ability to obtain a forklift license.
