Wash Bay Jockey - 160716 & 160590
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for inspecting, cleaning, preparing and staging trailers for route or repair.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: * Check Reefer Fluid levels Oil / Coolant * Wash Truck exterior as scheduled * Wash Trailer Exterior / Interior as Scheduled and Deodorize Trailer * Spray/Wash out Reefer Units as needed * Report Equipment Damage to Supervisor * Document fuel gallons used by unit daily * Document equipment washed daily * Check fluids on yard truck daily * Assist fleet mechanics with basic maintenance * Performs other job duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: * One-year related experience and/or training * System Implementation Preferred * Mechanically inclined * Understanding of safety guidelines * Dependable, responsible team player. * Ability to operate a power washer and other cleaning equipment * Ability to use a ladder * Ability to work independently * Able to lift up to 50 lbs
