As a Pharmacy Technicia n, you’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Along the way, you’ll discover the training, support and career opportunities you’d expect from a Fortune 6 leader.
This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You’ll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It’s a fast paced, high volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.
Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
Order fulfillment including, picking and shipping patient medication and supplies
Resolve customer related issues
Ordering and re-stocking drug and supply inventory
Contact patients for routine refill calls
Contact insurance / billing to resolve claim issues
Infusion pump management
Working Monday - Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm for an 8-hour shift

High School Diploma / GED or higher
Current State of Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
2(+) years of experience working in a pharmacy setting
You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
Experience using Microsoft office and Microsoft excel
Home health or specialty pharmacy experience
CPR+ operating system knowledge
Must be able to multitask efficiently
