Zions Bancorporation Bank Operations Specialist - Exceptions - Seattle, WA (Hybrid Schedule) in Seattle, Washington

The Commerce Bank of Washington, a division of Zions Bancorporation N.A., is currently seeking an experienced Bank Operations Specialist with experience in exception processing and other areas of banking. The individual selected for this position will have the highest level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good time management skills, and can work independently. This is a hybrid role with time in the office and at home.

This individual will be responsible for:

· Primary Duties: This position will primarily be responsible for Exception Item Processing (non-post items, stop payment exception review, in-clearing returns, and Fed returns), adjustments and check fraud review.

· Other Duties: Processing incoming and outgoing wires, processing and scanning of routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, cashed checks, loan payments, GL tickets, etc.), ordering foreign currency, helping clients at the front desk with a personable attitude, supply ordering and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred in a discipline such as Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent work experience.

  • 1+ years of banking operations or other directly related experience.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

  • Strong skill base to include customer service, communications, basic business writing, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

  • Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
