Description
Our team is looking for a junior attorney that is interested in working in Bankruptcy Law. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and counsel, represent our organization in court proceedings, and review cases related to Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and counsel on all issues regarding the requirements imposed by the Bankruptcy Code in the administration of Chapter 13 cases
• Represent the organization in court proceedings related to bankruptcy cases
• Review case files and conduct meetings with debtors
• Draft pleadings and handle adversary proceeding litigation as needed
• Manage a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail and organization
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to manage case load
• Provide assistance and advice to other departments in the office on Chapter 13 case administration
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements
1+ YOE as a Licensed Attorney
Active WA license
Experience handling a large caseload (candidates with experience in Personal Injury, Immigration, Workers' Compensation, or handling a criminal defense docket are encouraged to apply)
Interest in Bankruptcy Law
