The Opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring Catering Servers to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle Washington. As a Catering Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting.
This is a tipped position. Earn up to $43/hr, when including tips.
Minimum pay rate: $18.69 / hour

Responsibilities
Set up tables for function in accordance with banquet event order.
Transport food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Perform necessary tasks to service guests including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes.
Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
Monitor guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
Replenish food on buffet lines as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.
Break down the event according to company procedures.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age.
Previous restaurant, catering and/or banquet experience required.
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for entire length of shift.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Mobility to maneuver between tables.
Ability to work in variable indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions.
