Blue Origin LLC Cleaning Passivation & Verification - Production Associate (R39620) in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of technicians, you will assist in general duties for chemical processing and precision cleaning of hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of propulsion module, engine, and subassembly manufacturing! The Cleaning, Passivation, and Verification Lab is a critical part of the company's Operations team. Special Mentions Various shifts available A Shift: Monday - Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) - (40 hrs.) B Shift: Monday - Thursday (3:00 PM - 1:30 AM) - (40 hrs.) C Shift: Friday - Sunday (5:00 AM - 6:00 PM) - (36 hrs.) D Shift: Friday - Sunday (5:00 PM - 6:00 AM) - (36 hrs.) Multiple positions available Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks. Assist with shop loading and work kit preparation. Stock raw materials in appropriate quantities. Clean and maintain equipment as directed. Make sure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks. Assist shop managers, supervisors, leads, engineers, and quality as needed. Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment. Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment. Work safely around chemicals, compressed air, pneumatics, heavy machinery, etc. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with basic hand tools. Capacity to analyze a situation and prioritize tasks. Strong verbal communication skills. Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
