Job Description Mott MacDonald is currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Transportation Market Lead interested in leading the development and growth of the transport business for Mott MacDonald. This role is critical for achieving Mott MacDonald's strategic growth ambitions in the transportation market, building a client centric experiences and delivering outstanding projects. A key part of the role, you will also direct the delivery of a variety of projects in a dynamic work environment related to this account and others as required. You will direct project team members in various delivery stages of transit infrastructure projects. The role will be challenging, demanding, and varied, offering committed support, excellent career development opportunities, with ability to grow with the business across North America. Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To Developing new and managing Key Client relationships within the overall Transportation industry as well as interfacing on relevant proposals and projects. Developing and growing service offerings in response to market trends organizational needs, and strategy. Identifying opportunities, turning them into prospects and converting the prospects into projects. Growing external relationships, building and maintaining strong networks with key clients, business partners and competitors, driving joint initiatives where appropriate and using these networks to influence, close deals and impact the growth and direction of the business. Deliver commercially robust proposals and projects, managing risk and financial performance within various accounts. Leading business development activities and strategic initiatives. Acting as a role model and ambassador for Mott MacDonald, articulating and representing the brand, vision, and value proposition internally and externally. Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will have experience in infrastructure and transportation market segments and possess the following skills and experience: Alignment with Mott MacDonald values. A minimum of 18 years of experience within transportand a sound understanding of organizational priorities, policies and practices. Self-directed nature, with ability to work well / seamlessly with a larger team, including outside experts (e.g., financial, legal, regulatory, etc.) Ability to network within a large global organization to bring the best solutions to our clients. Management experience of both large projects and teams, for the total delivery of projects from their inception to construction completion and operation. Experience managing financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, subcontractors, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintaining good relationship with clients. As well as those duties that directly support the growth of the highways business, the ideal candidate will have experience in delivering and managing projects with the ability to fulfil or as a minimum, support the following duties: Engagement with Mott MacDonald's North American Development Team and Practices. Providing leadership in compiling quality deliverables for projects. Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, nurturing an innovative, challenging, collaborative and high performing work environment, which supports and fosters the Mott MacDonald values and culture where results are driven by a total team effort.
