As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists and engineers, you will help improve effectiveness and overall product quality across the product lifecycle by driving activities related to Engines Configuration Management. In this position, you will perform change analysis activities including managing change requests, supporting change impact identification, facilitating change boards, and updating change implementation tasks. These activities will support Blue Origin's commitment to accurate and on-time delivery of important artifacts and ensure known configuration is maintained.
We are seeking an individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the engine product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with engine product teams to provide timely configuration and data management services
Review proposed configuration changes to understand their impact on the product and system
Ensure enforcement of configuration and data management rules to meet customer requirements
Lead or support configuration change meetings to document risks and impacts
Identify and implement system and process improvements
Lead and support the establishment of a world-class Configuration Management structure

Qualifications:
5+ years of product configuration management experience in a regulated environment
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational/coordination skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
U.S. citizenship, national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
Aerospace industry experience
Technical writing experience related to process and policy development
Experience with tools such as Windchill, Creo, DOORS NextGen, Jama Connect, Confluence, and Jira
Familiarity with Export Control regulations (EAR/ITAR)
